Gallery 2: The Ugly Duckling
A sad story of a misplaced duckling who is outcast because of his appearance. Tormented by those around him he hides away alone. But come the spring he looks at his reflection as he realises he turned into a beautiful swan.
For this sad story I used a watercolour washes for the base for these compositions and stencils for other elements. I worked on the duckling giving him a personality to show how sad he is through his expression.
